Q. What does a subscription mean?

Q. Why can’t I access some of the articles in your Library?
A. Most of the articles in our Library are for subscribers only. Guests are able to view only a small sample of our content.

Q. Can I see any documents at without registering or paying something?

Q. How much does a subscription to cost?
A. A subscription to costs $1,195 per year and includes access to the regulatory analysis of one state. Pricing for is for internal organizational use only for one user and one state. Q. The laws in my state are a lot different than those that apply on a federal level. How can you help me?
A. So glad you asked! offers detailed analysis of the laws of every state and the District of Columbia. Base subscriptions include access to one state, but subscribers can add as many states as they want. Call Customer Service at 1 800-454-0404 for more information.

Q. What are the benefits of becoming a subscriber? Can't I get almost as much as a guest and pay nothing?
A. Subscribers enjoy complete access to over 10,000 pages of content and tools, plus unlimited access to our archives and other features. Our HR FAQs give subscribers personal answers to any HR question within 1 business day. Members can ask up to 10 questions per year. Guests can view only our sample content.

Q. I bought something from the bookstore or registered for a free report. Don't I already have a user name or password?
A. Purchasing an item from the bookstore or ordering a free report is appreciated, but will not give you access to subscriber-only features. To become a subscriber, click the "Subscribe" button at the top right of any page.
