HR Strange But True!
April 17, 2008

A cross-dressing man is facing charges that he rammed his Geo Tracker into a lingerie shop in Michigan because he was angry that the company never hired him after he applied for a job, the Detroit Free Press reports.

Deputies from the Oakland County Sheriff's Office allege that the man first went to the Intimate Ideas store in Commerce Township and told an employee about his plan to ram the building with his car.

Deputies say the man then left the store and proceeded to hit the store several times with his vehicle, the newspaper reports. No one was hurt during the incident. However, the man is accused of causing about $3,000 in damage to the store, deputies say.

The man said he applied for a job at the store in January. For a clue as to what he might have worn to an interview, you could look to his attire at the arraignment, where, the newspaper reports, he wore "makeup, blue Capri pants, red flip flops, a flowery blouse, and a matching bra."

He faces charges of commission of a felony with a motor vehicle, malicious destruction of property over $1,000, and reckless driving, the newspaper reports.
