HR Strange But True!
June 24, 2004

Work at fast-food chains is tough enough without having the food you serve thrown at you.

A man in Des Moines, Iowa, is facing assault charges after a Taco Bell employee accused the man of throwing a chalupa at her while she worked the drive-through window, the Associated Press reports.

The incident allegedly occurred after the man complained that his order was a taco short, according to police records obtained by the news service.

The employee told the man the store was closing. As she turned away, she felt a chalupa smack her face, the employee told police.
