HR.BLR.com Wins Gold Award for Website Design

HR.BLR.com has been selected as the Gold Award winner for best business-to-business website design in the Newsletter on Newsletters 33rd Annual Newsletter and Online Publishing Awards competition.

"We are very honored by the Gold Award, which we see as a validation of the many changes and improvements we have made to the HR.BLR.com website over the last two years," said Chris Kilbourne, senior managing Web editor for Business & Legal Reports, Inc. "It is particularly gratifying coming from the Newsletter on Newsletters, which has been called 'the Bible of the industry' by Time Magazine."

HR.BLR.com was chosen from among the competition's hundreds of entries, which ranged from small companies to such large operations as the Mayo Clinic and Variety magazine, according to Paul Swift, the editor and publisher of the Newsletter on Newsletters.

HR.BLR.com has been serving HR professionals with daily news, reference materials, and tools since 1999. It was significantly redesigned in May 2005 to allow even easier access to its ever-expanding content.

The Gold Award follows close on the heels of the website being named a finalist in the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) 2006 CODiE Awards competition.

HR.BLR.com is entered in the category of Best Online Government Information Service which recognizes the website that best utilizes legislative, regulatory and legal content; public record databases, government reports and data, and more. Winners will be announced May 16 at the SIIA annual conference in San Francisco.

The Silver Award in the Newsletter on Newsletters competition went to TPM Online Forum, produced by TurningPointe Marketing Inc. of Bethesda, Maryland.
