Group Leaders
National Summary
Group leaders are non-supervisory employees who have responsibility for other employees. Group leaders maintain certain duties and responsibilities that may make them liable as supervisory-type employees. The role that a group leader plays on an employee committee may also expose the employer to liability under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), if certain precautions are not taken.
