National Summary
Diversity refers to the existence of many unique individuals in the workplace and in the community. This includes men and women from different countries, cultures, ethnic groups, generations, backgrounds, skills, abilities, and other characteristics that make them who they are. In order to capitalize on the value of the skills, experience, and unique perspectives each employee brings to the company, employers must make sure that the workplace provides each an opportunity to develop his or her potential and contribute to the success of the business.
