HR, Training, and Labor Relations Field Expected to Grow

Human resources, training, and labor relations managers and specialists are on the list of the top occupations expected to grow through 2018. The list, from Michael Farr’s “100 Fastest-Growing Careers”, used data from the Department of Labor to find the fastest-growing occupations.

The top fastest-growing occupations, outside of the health care, include:

HR managers also made it on Forbes’ list of “America’s Most Surprising Six-Figure Jobs.” Forbes used data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) and determined that HR managers had a mean annual income of $106,000. The top 10 percent make an average of $164,000.

According to recent BLS data, there were 63,000 Human Resource mangers employed across the nation.
