In this video, BLR Senior Legal Editor Susan Schoenfeld explains new federal contractor requirements under a new final rule, recently announced by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), which makes changes to the regulations implementing the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA).

VEVRAA prohibits employment discrimination against specified categories of veterans by federal government contractors and subcontractors. OFCCP revised the VEVRAA regulations to update and strengthen federal government contractors’ affirmative action and nondiscrimination responsibilities.
