HR Strange But True!
November 11, 2010

Regional and national awards are one thing, but how would your organization like to be recognized the “World’s Best” at something?

GWR Live!, part of Guinness World Records, is giving organizations the opportunity to do just that. They are offering custom-made packages for corporate events and celebrations that could give your employees that chance to earn a “World’s Best” title.

Personnel will be provided to help train and guide participants through the record-breaking process. Participants can be individual employees, teams, or the entire organization.

The GWR Live! team will also help your organization choose which record, existing or new, to tackle. “The records themselves can reflect products, corporate themes or messages, with advertising copy lines,” according to the press release.

If your organization is interested in adding competition to your holiday celebration, GWR Live! suggests trying for festive records, such as the loudest “Ho, Ho, Ho” or the ‘fastest holiday song—one word relay.’
