Not every employee likes their boss, but one man says he was rendered physically ill from constant verbal abuse, so much so, he had to be prescribed medication.
Housing Authority Superintendent Anthony Dingle has brought a suit against his boss, claiming “I was constantly being attacked by her. I felt like attacks could come at any time. Every time I heard her voice, it triggered a sickening feeling in me.”
According to the New York Post, Dingle claims the abuse, which allegedly started after he complained about his boss to higher ups, would make him vomit.
In addition to seeing a psychological therapist, the suit claims that Dingle had to be treated by a doctor, who “prescribed medication to calm his stomach and to get his intestinal system properly functioning.”
Dingle filed the lawsuit against his boss and the Housing Authority.
